Chuao Chocolatier

Once a week, we'll update this page with 2 different chocolate bars. One will be done by myself (Dom) from here in Boerne, Texas. The other, will be done by my friend Sarah, out in Colordao Springs, CO. We're here to answer that question most people have when walking down the candy isle. Is that 5$ chocolate bar really worth it? We do this so you don't have to.

We'll start this off with the bar that gave me the idea. Chuao Chocolatiers have come up with this Panko bar. It's dark chocolate (60%) with toasted panko breadcrumbs and sea salt. The panko gave a great crunch, but not enough so it didn't feel like you were eating a Nestle Crunch bar. The sea salt was really fine, not at all grity. Overall I really enjoyed this. The sea salt was balanced out really well with the dark chocolate. I'd rate this a 7 out of 10. At a price of 4$ it is a pretty decent bar and it can be found at most local Walmarts. Expect another update tomorrow or the day after...and an improvement in my writing skills.
